The Fields at Huber Ranch all started back in 1998 when Johnny Guerrero called Abel Tovar one day and said "Hey, we have registered team with ASA" Abel's reply, "Who's on the team?", Johnny said, "Kayla and Andrea" (Johnny's daughter is Kayla and Abel's daughter is Andrea) Abel said "OK" and thus started the journey into the world of select fastpitch softball.

You see, Kayla and Andrea have played softball together, on the same team, since they were 5 years old, so they were both 10 in 1998.  Their team, coached by Johnny and assisted by Abel, first started as Seguin Rage as most of Kayla's and Andrea's teammates were from Seguin, but as the team went through normal changes, the team name finally became "Lady Rage".  A lot of young softball players came and went through the Lady Rage organization and a few of them went on to play college ball.

As with most softball teams, Johnny and Abel were always trying to raise money for equipment and to play in tournaments that required travel.  So, they hosted a few small tournaments in 2003 and 2004, so that they could take the team to Colorado so that the team could play in famous "Colorado Sparkler Tournament"

To be continued...
