The 2010 Seguin High School Matador Classic Softball Tournament was a tremendous success, with 35 high school teams participating from all over the state.  The competition was good and the playing fields great.  It was 3 days of pure fastpitch softball fun and we are doing it again in 2011, so stay tuned!

Tournament Information

• Number of Teams Officially Signed Up - 0  (as of 3/8/2010)                        SEE TEAM LIST BELOW. 
• We will put teams on a "Waiting" List after 35 teams. 
• Sign-ups will be taken until 2/15/2011 or at 35 Teams max.
• 1:45 time limit, finish the inning, progressive ITB if tied
• Mercy Rule:  8 runs after 5 innings
• Flip for Home Team before game, Seguin will be home team.
• Home team keeps the official book
• Use own NFHS 47core game balls
• Location of Fields, click on "Facility" tab or www.mapquest.com
• Please read "Facility Rules", they will be enforced.

Scoring

• Win = 6 points
• 1 point per run up to 3 runs = 3 points
• Shut-out = 1 point
• 10 points available per game or 60 points for the tournament
• If tied with points UIL tie breaker will be used
• Top 3 Teams with most points will receive trophies & Medals (15 per team)
• 12 All-Tournament Awards
• 1 MVP Award
